I have considerable experience in Manufacturing, Service and FMCG sectors, having worked internationally and nationally in Frozen Dough & Fresh Bread Manufacturing, Electrical Distribution Network Service, Pharmaceutical R&D & Manufacturing, Aircraft and Helicopter Sales & Service, Apparel Manufacturing & Branding, Materials Handling and even Carpet Manufacturing businesses. Businesses ranging in size from $12m turnover and 63 staff to over $150m turnover and more than 480 staff. I have sleeves-rolled-up business experience as interim CEO for New Zealand and Australia, General Manager in the USA, Australia and New Zealand regions and Group CFO for New Zealand and Australia.

I have activated a $16m leveraged MBO, successfully prepared a business for sale, successfully presented a different company to potential Trade & Private Equity Investors resulting in a $25m additional investment and have restored a manufacturing business that was destroyed by fire (after removing previous management for fraud). For another client, I have lifted the Gross Margin 5 percentage points (17% improvement) and, compared to the prior period, a bottom-line improvement exceeding $3.45m while Revenues decreased by 15.3%. Most recently, a company with stagnant Revenue for 13 years grew 34% in year one and a further 16% in year two. Margin lifted 4.2%age points in year one and an additional 2.6%age points in year two, from 21.6% to 28.4% overall. Net profit lifted 550% in year one and 82% further in year two.
